Terms of Service & License Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the Ankylix application (the "App") and the website ankylix.com (the "Site"), provided by [Your legal name / business name] ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

Subject to these Terms and payment of the applicable fee, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Ankylix on Mac computers that you own or control, for your own use.

2. Trial

Ankylix offers a 14-day free trial so you can evaluate it before purchase. When the trial ends, a valid license is required to keep using it. The trial is provided "as is" without warranty.

3. Purchase & activation

Licenses are sold through Paddle, our authorized reseller and merchant of record. After purchase you receive an order ID (beginning with ord_) used to activate the App. Keep it safe; it is your proof of license.

4. Restrictions

You agree not to: (a) resell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the App or license keys; (b) reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App except to the extent permitted by law; (c) circumvent the trial or licensing mechanism; or (d) use the App unlawfully or to infringe others' rights.

5. Updates

We may provide updates, which these Terms also cover. Your license includes updates as described at the time of purchase [e.g. all 1.x updates]. We may change or discontinue features over time.

6. Intellectual property

The App, the Site, the Ankylix name and logo, and all related content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a license to use the App, not ownership of it.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and Site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. This does not affect statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Refunds

Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

10. Termination

This license ends automatically if you breach these Terms. On termination you must stop using and remove the App.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Spain], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence still apply.
